Born and raised in McAllen, Texas, United States of America, Michael Hohenstein is a Rio Grande Valley native and possesses over a decade of experience in law. Michael’s family descendants are European and Mexican. Michael is fluent in Spanish and has family throughout Mexico.
Michael's passion for law developed while working with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in Houston, Texas. That opportunity gave him the perspective to help people in need and those affected by social injustices that still continue to affect communities alike throughout this country and abroad.
Michael provides proactive advice and counsel to his clients before issues arise and especially when times are difficult. Michael is not an Oil and Gas attorney and is licensed only to practice state law in New Mexico.
After earning his law degree in Arizona (2014), Michael relentlessly serves his community with hopes of helping every community member to realize their American dream. Michael worked for the Judicial Branch of Arizona at the Maricopa County Superior Court, Family Division but now focuses his efforts and offers services in immigration removal defense.
