José Montaño

José Montaño graduated with honors from Arizona State University and Arizona State University School of Law in 2003. Mr. Montano is a member of the Arizona State Bar, admitted practicing in Arizona, the United States Federal Court of Arizona, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Mr. Montaño practices in the areas of criminal defense, bankruptcy, and immigration. Mr. Montano has successfully defended many “high-profile” defendants in criminal cases involving white collar crimes and drug-related offenses. In addition, Mr. Montaño is recognized as one of the best immigration attorneys in Arizona. He has dedicated much of his practice to helping immigrants around the world in their times of need. Mr. Montaño and his staff have successfully represented many clients in bond hearings to get their release and in other proceedings to help them make their dream of living in the United States of America.  

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Montaño also has extensive experience in business and real estate. Mr. Montaño is involved in many community service organizations and is also a member of the Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association. He is highly recognized and respected for his work in the Hispanic community and has been featured and interviewed on Channel 3 television in Phoenix for his legal opinion on local cases.
