Garrett Wilkes grew up in Tucson, Arizona. The son of an Attorney and grandson of a Pima County Superior Court Judge, Garrett has inherently grown up around the workings of the legal system. After of year of playing collegiate basketball at Eastern Arizona College, Garrett served a two year mission for his Church in Mexico.
After his mission, Garrett attended Arizona State University, where he majored in Kinesiology and minored in Spanish. During his studies, Garrett realized that his passion lay in the law and assisting of those who were in need of competent representation. This was mostly realized while Garrett was working with the Salt River Department of Corrections during his undergraduate studies.
Garrett graduated from Phoenix School of Law in 2011. While attending Phoenix School of Law, Garrett participated in externships with the Honorable Steven M. McNamee of the Federal District Court as well as the Phoenix Immigration Courts. Garrett also participated in a Rule 38 externship with the Glendale Prosecutor’s Office. Garrett began working in the area of criminal defense and immigration in 2010. Ever since that time, Garrett has dedicated his time, talents, and efforts to those areas of law. Garrett is also recognized as a Mediator by the Attorney General’s Office.
Garrett is an Eagle Scout as well as an avid sports fan. Garrett constantly participates in numerous community activities and volunteer organizations. Garrett and his wife have two children and reside in Mesa, Arizona.
